Persistence – your key to success!

Courageous persistence is the most powerful quality that will guarantee you success. Lets face it, success is something we all want, right? Whether you want to lose a few kg’s, ace an exam paper, win a contract or any other goal you desire to succeed in, you need to be persistent. This will be the difference between a successful outcome and giving up!

The definition of persistence is “the fact of continuing in an opinion or course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition”.  I know and have experienced that in the face of pain and defeat, it’s definitely is a challenge to stay persistent.

Let your Why be your motivation and inspiration to keep you on track towards your vision. Let this why be your driver to setting aligned, actionable daily goals which take you one step closer to what you desire.

Accept there will be obstacles and have the confidence that without these obstacles we cannot learn and grow. Adversity and challenges are the precursors to your success.

It is easy to see a vision in a certain way and when it does not show up like we think, to feel disappointed or let down. Trust that your success is evolving the way it should and if you stay true to your vision and remain persistent you will succeed.

Michael Jordan once said; “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

The key attitude to receiving great achievement is to be persistent in spite of the obstacles and challenges you will face. Don’t give up as success will come to those who have the courage to stay the course and go get it!
